- 1. Can I attend the conference with my friend?
Yes! You can sign up to attend the conference with your friend. Most conferences will ask you to select workshop choices and you and your friend can choose the same workshops. Just remember there is no guarantee you’ll get all of your choices, but a great effort is made.
2. When are where are conferences held?
Most conferences are held in March, but a few sites choose to hold their conferences other times of the year. Conferences are held all over the United States and in Asia. Some states have more than one conference location, while other states have no conferences.

3. How many girls attend conferences?
There is no set number of conference attendees. Conferences vary in size from quite small (50-250) all the way up to 1,200 in some cases.
4. What type of workshops are held?
Each EYH conference features hands-on activities. At EYH conferences you will participate in fun and challenging hands-on math, science and engineering activities led by women mathematicians, scientists and engineers.
Through these important hands-on workshops, you will learn that studying math and science can be fun! You will participate in fun experiments and learn about the importance of studying as much math as possible in high school.
By using local volunteers to lead workshops, you’ll meet with mathematicians, engineers and scientists who live and work in your community, and who may serve as your future mentor.
